EZ Living Interiors Wins 3 Retail Excellence Ireland Awards

It's been a huge year for EZ Living Interiors, with wins for National Retailer of the Year, Large Online Retailer of the Year and Furniture Store of the Year.

We’re absolutely delighted to be celebrating three wins at the 2026 Retail Excellence Ireland Awards.

Taking home National Retailer of the Year was a particularly proud moment for us, alongside wins for Large Online Retailer of the Year and Furniture Store of the Year for our Sandyford flagship.

For a family business that started out on Blarney Street in Cork in 1988, it’s pretty special to see how far we’ve come. What began with James and Caroline White has grown into a business with 25 stores and a busy online operation, all built around a love of interiors and helping people make more of their homes.

There’s a lot of hard work behind that journey, and these awards gave us a chance to celebrate it.

National Retailer of the Year

This award means so much to us. National Retailer of the Year recognises our entire business, making it a particularly special achievement for everyone at EZ Living Interiors.

Over the years, we’ve worked hard to grow the business without losing the family values it was built on. We want our stores to be places where people enjoy spending time, where they can get ideas for their homes and where they feel looked after when making a big purchase.

A lot goes into delivering that experience. Our store teams are there to help customers find the right pieces, while colleagues across the business work behind the scenes to make sure everything from browsing online to getting an order home runs as smoothly as possible.

It takes a huge amount of work from people in every part of the business, and we’re very proud of what they’ve helped us achieve.

Winning this award is a lovely reminder of just how much has gone into building EZ Living Interiors over the past 38 years. It’s also a credit to the people who continue to move the business forward every day.

Large Online Retailer of the Year

Our online business has grown into a huge part of EZ Living Interiors, giving customers the chance to explore our collections and find inspiration wherever they are.

We know buying furniture is a big decision. A sofa or dining table needs to work for your home, your lifestyle and your budget, so we want our website to make the process as easy as possible.

That means continually looking at how we present our products, the information customers need before buying and how we can make the overall shopping experience better.

There’s a lot of work happening behind the scenes to keep our online business moving, and we’re delighted that the team’s efforts have been recognised with the Large Online Retailer of the Year award.

It’s a great achievement for the team and one we’re excited to build on.

Sandyford Wins Furniture Store of the Year Again

Our Sandyford flagship has done it again, taking home Furniture Store of the Year for the second consecutive year following its win in 2025.

We’ve always wanted Sandyford to be more than a place to shop for furniture. It’s a destination where customers can explore different styles, see how pieces work together and find inspiration for their own homes.

A huge part of that experience comes from our Visual Merchandising team. Their creativity and attention to detail are what bring our room settings to life, helping customers picture how different furniture, colours and accessories might work in their own spaces. Every display takes thought and hard work, and that care can be seen throughout the store.

Sandyford is also home to our Style Stories podcast space, Plant Market, Sleep Studio, Design Hub, Sara’s Lounge, EZpresson Lounge and the Kukoon Hub. Each brings something different to the store, giving customers more to discover during their visit.

We’re particularly proud of the Visual Merchandising team and everyone at Sandyford who works to make the store such an inspiring place to visit. Winning this title for a second year running is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to their work.

A Moment to Celebrate

The Retail Excellence Ireland Awards give us a chance to step back from the day-to-day and appreciate how much our team has achieved. We’re delighted to see that work recognised, particularly across three areas that are so important to the business.

From the people welcoming customers into our stores to the teams working behind the scenes, every person has a part to play in the experience we create. These awards are a lovely reminder of what we can achieve when everyone is working towards the same goal.

We’ve come a long way since James and Caroline White opened our first store in Cork in 1988, and we’re excited about what lies ahead. But no matter how much we grow, our aim remains the same: to help our customers find pieces they love and create a home that feels like their own.
